Davide Puma
Artist from Sanremo, always a draftsman, he discovers painting in 2003 and in a few years he exhibits in prestigious galleries in Italy and abroad.
From Drawing to Painting, Passing Through Poetry
He was born in Sanremo in 1971. Always a illustrator, he dedicated the early years of his professional life to other career paths. He discovered a passion for painting in 2003 when, almost as a game, he started collaborating in his brother Corrado’s atelier. Encouraged by his brother, he decided to refine and direct his natural talent by attending the Balbo Academy in Bordighera with Master Enzo Consiglio and the artistic nude school in Menton.
In a few years, his work has been featured in prestigious galleries throughout Italy from the North to the South, attracting the attention of galleries in Paris and Geneva that have organized solo exhibitions for him. It is from poetry that he draws inspiration and nourishment to represent the comparison between man, understood as a human being, and nature, between man and the cosmos, and between the animal and floral universe. He lives and works in Sanremo.
