Located in Catania, the Museo Arte Contemporanea Sicilia has been hosting a permanent collection of figurative contemporary art since 2013, showcasing works by Sicilian, Italian, and international artists.
In harmony with its splendid setting, the MacS seamlessly blends eighteenth-century architectural beauty with the modernity of contemporary art. The museum serves as a bridge that connects the distant tradition of Baroque painting to contemporary expression, aiming to enhance the cultural heritage of Sicily. It frequently forges cultural alliances with equally prestigious historical and artistic venues, promoting the understanding of Italian and international contemporary art, and providing a platform for both emerging young talents and established artists.
